Since I’ve been challenged to guess where this is going (and my track record so far has been less than stellar), my guess is that Fausto will turn out to be rather self-centered, owing to his father’s over-promoting of his ‘skill’ as a painter. Velia may wind up being more attracted to Gianni after all, though we have yet to see how all this connects with her feelings for Lou. It’s still a bit early to figure out any major plot developments!
Over-the-weekend comment: Tina’s Groove has had some interesting new developments of its own. One day, Tina and Noel are kissing and it looks like they’re getting along very well indeed, but the next day, she’s apparently trying to duck out from his phone calls. That one nice kiss aside, there’s no sign of any return of feelings from Tina to Noel. Is she really just too nice to break it off with him, or is there a bit more under the surface that’s keeping her interested in him? I’m still quite fascinated with all this!
It’s been niggling in the back of my mind that Fausto will not be interested in Velia at all, or any women for that matter. Out of respect for his father, he will go along with Gianni’s attempts to force him and Velia together. At first he’ll be very rude and obnoxious, but eventually they will develop a bond and she will end up helping Fausto come out to his father. I don’t think Gianni and Vel will end up in a romantic relationship, but I’m also not so sure where Lou will fit in, either.
Toronto Girl…. you’re close about some things, that’s all I’ll say! hee hee hee
Neil: Gianni’s not exactly “over-promoting” Fausto’s skill as a painter. In Gianni’s words: “My Kid could paint that, too….. and he did.” Watch on wednesday and Friday!
Oh, and your question regarding Tina’s story — you’re right about there being something — true love?? — under the surface. She’s not too nice to break it off.
Thanks for reading!
Oh, the suspense! Maybe Fausto will fall in love with Lou – tee hee :0)
Ahhh! Toronto Girl — I never thought of that!! (the outline for the story is written)… ha ha!
