   Likie every good citizen, I read the newspaper every day (in my case, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette) for the news, opinions, features, and of course the comics. I also check DailyInk for favorite comics my paper doesn’t have.

   But I have a confession to make. The very first thing I do in Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, is check the web for the latest Velia Dear. That sets up my day like a screwdriver or a bloody mary.

   Bill, thank you so much. As for screwdrivers and bloody marys, it’s nice to know “Velia, Dear” is so intoxicating!
