   I really enjoy this strip. At the same time i REALLY feel sorry for poor Velia, though..
   It seems that EVERYONE , family and friends, see her as either something to be won or controlled.
   If i were her in a REAL-LIFE situation,at this point, I’d just dump the whole lot of them, take off for parts unknown, and have myself declared legally DEAD if I have to! It’s like these people want EVERYTHING out of her! I’m amazed the poor girl isn’t smothered beyond repair yet.

   Somehow something tells me things aren’t going to be quite as bad for Ma as today’s strip portends…having said that, especially with the many crazy twists and turns all plots have had so far, with your great writing, I could be waaay off!!

   I concur, Tom. My guess is that Ma is choking on some sopressata and poor Lou is going to end up the loser again by overreacting or doing the wrong thing. Rina – safe travels and welcome home for TCAF tomorrow! I’d love to come see you as a panelist but it’s also Hot Docs this weekend and I have tickets a-plenty. Enjoy!
