At the same time i REALLY feel sorry for poor Velia, though.. It seems that EVERYONE , family and friends, see her as either something to be won or controlled. If i were her in a REAL-LIFE situation,at this point, I'd just dump the whole lot of them, take off for parts unknown, and have myself declared legally DEAD if I have to! It's like these people want EVERYTHING out of her! I'm amazed the poor girl isn't smothered beyond repair yet. I really enjoy this strip. At the same time i REALLY feel sorry for poor Velia, though..
