My head is spinning, trying to follow the doctor’s dialogue! It almost reads as if he’s answering the next question instead of the preceding. And as before, I think we have to wait to see just how this all connects to the story-in-progress. But in case I’m not making this clear, I still love this series!
Hi, Neil — These two strips with the doctor are only connected as a device to let you know that Ma’s health is deteriorating while all this drama is going on with Gianni (Old Italian mothers often die, or get fatally ill by the actions of their daughters, unfortunately ) I also wanted to do a couple of days of bizarre stuff — ancient Italian doctors can be quite scary (especially the ones that still do house calls!) Anyway, back to the matter at hand tomorrow (Friday). Glad you’re liking the series!
