   The last panel reminds me of Ralphie in A Christmas Story when he imagines that he had gone blind from soap poisoning. That one look he gives at the end, as if to say “Now you’re sorry!”

   Velia’s mom is breaking the fourth wall with the “Now you’re sorry that you’ve ruined your life by not listening to me!”

   On February 6, Velia predicted this would happen. Go back and check it out.

   I do like the way Rina has drawn the mother perfectly stiff as if she were a doll. My wife said “Well, she’s in shock.”

   This one made me laugh out loud. She’s completely catatonic and that mouth is completely expressionless.
