Speaking as a rather lapsed Catholic myself, I’m pretty sure Sister Brigida isn’t meant to represent all Catholics or Christians so much as she represents all Sister Brigidas (there’s only the one fictional one, right, Rina?).
Seriously, I love how well crafted her features are. She can be perfectly dreadful, yet I swear I can still sense her humanity. Rina can draw the dark side well, but it still remains grounded in believability.
