On the blog today is a short article I wrote titled, “More $$ And Less Creative Freedom, Or Less $ And More Creative Freedom?” Read it if you’d like to know what is perhaps one of the toughest decisions that you as a creator will have to face in your life. Reading time is 4 minutes (short!) See it HERE.
So how are you enjoying the “Velia, Dear” story so far? Drop me a comment and let me know. Your feedback is important to me.
“Velia, Dear” updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so please check back tomorrow for more. As always, I thank you for reading!

Loving Velia’s Yin to Tina’s Yang. Keep up the great work!
I’ve been following Velia, Dear since the early days. I love it!
That’s awesome, you guys — thanks so much!
I love, love, love this strip. I look forward to Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. It’s brilliantly written, brilliantly drawn and hugely entertaining!!!
Thanks, Ritz — comments like that make my day!
Just incredible stuff Rina!.. With the way your stories turn, you could get away with throwing almost any punchline in there! Other than there’s going to be a great comic Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the readers really don’t have any clue what to expect! Very fun stuff!.. How can you beat an almost perfect combonation of maturity, wit and intrigue, not to mention a good bit of serious humor? You just can’t.. =)
Great reading Rina. I used to live in Toronto and Ottawa – am now living in Australia. Love the wit and anguish that Velia goes through as I live with my mother in law!
Hello, Ontario Guy in the Land Down Under! thanks for the feedback… er, you sound like you must know!
Hi Rina, keep up the good job! Waking up on mondays is so much easier knowing that I’ll found another Velia strip!
Greetings from Italy
Thank you, everyone, for your comments — I really appreciate the feedback, and I’m happy that you guys are enjoying it!
There will be more stories soon after this one (one very short, and one of medium length of which I’m working on right now.)
Irene: I especially love greetings from Italy… I’ll be travelling to that wonderful country soon!
